WHY?

The South Commons offers the first impression for a large number of visitors to our school.  The current chairs have been well used and truly need replacing.  They do not reflect the GCS standard of excellence that we would like visitors to feel when they come through our doors so we are hoping to improve that first look by purchasing some sturdy chairs to replace the existing ones.  Please consider donating.

Upholstered seat and backrest

Years ago, Grace Christian School was blessed with a set of handbells for their elementary students to use, but wear and tear have taken their toll and they now desperately need to be refurbished! That is a fancy way of saying they need a tune up. 

After researching the history of our Malmark handbell set, it was discovered that the 3 octaves are over 15 years old and were purchased second hand. A manufacturer refurbishing will make the bells sound like new again and will benefit students who participate in the 6th Grade Ensemble and the 4th and 5th grade Spring Ring, as well as everyone who hears them.  

These beautiful instruments deserve to shine and ring in tune for our students so that they can make angelic tones once again. Sending them to the Malmark company for a professional refurbishment will ensure that they last for many more years and it will make them sound like new! Thank you for your donation.
